Connect With Your Local Porsche Community
Porsche Club of America (PCA)
The PCA was loosely founded in 1955 and has subsequently grown to be a well structured, large volunteer organization with thousands of members throughout America. The Porsche Club of America is dedicated to supporting Porsche owners and celebrating the brand.
The PCA goal is to bring together like minds for events, communications and camaraderie based around all things Porsche. PCA members race each other, show off their prized possessions and meet socially. The PCA sponsors driver education, restoration, and provides local hands-on technical sessions.
The club produces a monthly magazine called ‘Porsche Panorama’, which tells owner stories and provides an inside view to everything Porsche. Importantly, unlike many stuffy car clubs, the PCA is focused on people. All of their events are orientated around the enjoyment of the get-together rather than the drooling over a particular car.
Finding Your Local PCA
The PCA is organized in to 14 geographic zones throughout the north American continent. The volunteer nature and organic growth of the organization has produced a somewhat unwieldy structure that can be disarming to navigate.
The national organization that oversees the zones can be found here. This is an excellent central resource for all things Porsche and the organizer of national events.
Each PCA geographic zone contains local regional clubs. There are 145 local regions across the United States and Canada. Most regions have their own web sites, identity and structure. Local regions organize all events that are closest to you.
Notice that some of the regions include half of a state territory where others are fully inclusive.
