The AWE performance exhaust system for the Porsche Panamera Turbo 970 models provides amazing sound coupled with modest power gains.

Key to the development of an exhaust upgrade for the Panamera was to not destroy the executive sedan appeal of the car with a raw exhaust tone. AWE invested significant time in developing an exhaust that delivers the promise of a sportier, deeper exhaust tones without disrupting the luxury feel of the Panamera interior. The result is a perfectly fitting exhaust that has deep tones, no highway drone and a modest power increase. In addition, there are no modifications to emissions equipment and therefore it does not produce a CEL or cause subsequent emission test failures.

Touring Edition

The Touring Edition of the AWE exhaust for the Panamera Turbo is an axle-back system that retains the factory mid muffler. This helps to keep the volume more controlled and allows the rear mufflers to deepen the exhaust tone for a sportier sound. In addition, the system is considerably lighter than the factory mufflers and – this can help with partner justification such as “less weight, we save on gas, it will pay for itself.” It also features an X-pipe that enhances exhaust scavenging and gives extra low-end torque.

Track Edition

The Track Edition exhaust for the Panamera V6 has significant growl and can be loud under acceleration. The Panamera Track Edition is a cat back system that includes an X-Pipe as well as inlet tubes. It retains the factory downpipes and catalysts making it emission compliant and lighter than the original system. It does however, eliminate the mid muffler, making for a significant increase in volume. The neighbors will notice a change in volume from your Panamera and it’s not for the faint hearted.

Tip Options

AWE offers two choices of tips for the 970 Panamera Turbo Exhaust:

• Quad outlet diamond black tips
• Quad outlet chrome silver tips

Very high-quality exhaust with easy fitment and really good sound. It’s not easy to make a good sounding exhaust for a luxury sedan like the Panamera without exhaust noise disrupting the interior feel. AWE has managed that – really good deep, sporty tones and more volume – but you can comfortably sit in the back and read the paper or chat on the phone. No emission mods so it’s street legal and no annoying CEL. We recommend the Touring version if don’t you live alone!

Installation is straight forward and AWE includes new hardware to make the job simple. The Touring system is really easy to install while the track version slightly more difficult. Some of the sections are quite long given the size of the car, so a second pair of hands can really help especially for the fine tuning of the install and adjustment of the tips.
